  The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. The pool is really big and kept clean and kids have plenty of room to wander about and play. We had a quadruple room which was quite spacious and very clean with quite comfortable beds. The parking spaces are numbered matching the room number so each guest has his own parkin - What a haven of peace & tranqulity set in beautiful gardens with a very inviting pool - we had a lovely time just wished we`d stayed longer.Our hosts couldn`t do enough for us and even followed us out in the morning to make sure we got on the motorway ok - thankyou for a very relaxing stay.

  Great location, very accommodating.. Very helpful staff, very close to Fontana Bianche.. The bicycles available for free on the property were a great way to get to the beach and rocks. The restaurant on site is amazing.. The wait staff was incredible and very accommodating.. - The owner was really friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean.   Staff are particularly helpful and responsive to every need. An amasing location at the footsteps of Etna in an estate formerly owned by noblemen.   Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  Really great place. Very good location, amazing service, very helpful and freindly staff. Romantic dinner on the terrace at night is unforgetable. Free parking. Very close to Zingaro park. - It was easy to walk to the village and handy for the beach. The view from terrace was spectacular the room comfortable.

  Personalen var väldigt hjälpsam. Fantastisk mat till mycket bra pris. Lugn och trevlig miljö. - The hotel is on the main road and easy to find. Walking distance from Alcantara gorge. Very relaxing place. We had the pool almost exclusively to ourself. We even haf a small bar b q by the pool! The owner got to know that we were celebrating a family ... vad folk säger » occasion and we found a nice small cake for breafast! Thanks to the staff. Also they also presented us with a nice cold sparkling wine in the evening xxx. Owner is very fluent in english and very helpful. - Very good location if you like to discover east Sicily, very peacefull accomodation just relax in the garden around the mountains and orange trees (you will need quiet and relaxing enviroment after all-day drive in Sicily).The kitchen is very good they just use organic(bio) food mainly from their gardens or from the village. The Alcantara just 3 minutes.

  Some might say in the middel of nothing. I say it is the center of the Universe. A true pice of graden of eden. The landlord Family makes you feel home! Relax and enjoy the lovely dinner. This was quite a find, and perhaps 2 kilometers from the ruins at Agrigento.   We loved Marettimo and this hotel was a good place to enjoy it from. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean without the dreaded plastic mattress covers we often found elsewhere in Sicily. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great dinner at Il Veliero on the sea front at the other side of town with great food and a - Lovely room, terrace & breakfast. The accomodation was perhaps a little basic but spacious and everything you need is available and functioning. The island is perfect and peaceful. Some restaurants and little shops. All you need to relax at the sea. Best stay of our trip!

  The location, up a private road, was superb giving wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and even a glimpse of the sea. The restaurant was excellent as was the service. Tomasso, one of the waiters, was excellent and also very funny! We were upgraded to a luxury room which was extremely large, comfortable and luxurious. Great dinner, reasonably priced, and breakfast; lovely walks. SOme of the facilities, such as gym were not available for some reason but we did not really mind.
