  Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh. Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable. No problem getting there. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

This was quite a find, and perhaps 2 kilometers from the ruins at Agrigento.   Excellent location and our room was quite wonderful with a view over the vineyards and sea in the background. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious. Staff most helpful and friendly. Their spoken English outstanding. We have just received a box of wine that we ordered. The whites are well worth paying for!
