The B&B building (set apart from the owners' residence) feels like home and is set amid a working olive tree farm. There is a very clean, tranquil pool area, as well. Our room was large, exceptionally clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide selecti - For the host couple Nema & Pippo we give 10+ for their friendly attention, local knowledge and good advise for seeing the whole Sicily and enjoying the gastronomy. Location between olive trees, very peaceful and with swimming pool. Room completely equipped including small details such as slippers, water cooker and a selection of teas. For breakfast you give your preferences and signora Nema fixes for you. Easily localized by GPS with map coordinates. Nema and Pippo also speak Spanish and so

  We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily! On breakfast there were some fresh fruits in a buffet and good Italian coffee. Taormina is 10 mins away by car. Beach is 20 meters away. - Comfortable bed.   Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh. Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable. No problem getting there. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. Dinner menu is good (would only have liked a bit more choice for starters). Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Room (4 persons) was great, with a downstairs ar... vad folk säger » ea with 2 single beds and an upstairs 'master bedroom'. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom has the best rain-shower ever. Highly recommended! - We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!
