The owner Concetta is fantastic. Extremely helpful, friendly and did all she could make our stay unforgettable. When all ferries from Lampedusa was cancelled due to the weather she drove us around town in order to secure some of the few last-minute flight tickets to Palermo. -

This is a beautiful hotel with careful attention to every detail to make the guest feel welcome and special. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated with clean linen/towels. Even the pool towels are replaced each day. Nothing was too much trouble for our host and hostess. They recommended restaurants, booked them for us and helped with accommodation for our son who came to stay. Breakfast is traditional, home made and organic, with choices of delicious pastries and cakes each day.

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Great dinner, reasonably priced, and breakfast; lovely walks. SOme of the facilities, such as gym were not available for some reason but we did not really mind.

A really nice place to stay in the heart of Caltagirone. The host is really attentive, give good advices & tipps about the city, restaurants... The breakfast (with typical sicilian food) with view on Caltagirone from the terrasse is lovely. I definity recommand!
