  Rita made us feel very welcome immediately. Her charming villa, artistically appointed, lies in a little green valley descending from Piazza Armerina, which is just five minutes up the road. The garden is lush and beautifully arranged, alive with flowering trees and honeybees surrounding a pool in which to cool off from the hot Sicilian sun in war... vad folk säger » m weather. This is the place to utilize as a base from which to see the unforgettable and unmatched mosaics at Villa Romana at Casale, as well as the - Absolutely excellent. Great breakfasts with huge variety of choices and fresh baking. Rooms and setting are so nice. Quiet, on the edge of Piazza Armerina, yet an easy walk into the city. Rita is so eager to please and friendly. She even brought tea to our room each night. Just a great place to stay while exploring central Sicily.

  Locanda del Bagatto is the perfect spot to stay before a Aeolian Islands trip. As most ferries from Milazzo run during daylight hours only and our flight arrived in the evening, we needed a place to stay before beginning a week long holiday on the neighbouring Aeolian Islands. Every detail of Bagatto has been thoughtfully considered for the traveller like us - the contemporary design of the room - Very good kitchen in the restaurant ! Excellent food - the best we had eaten in Siciliy. We know what we are talking about, since we own a gourmand restaurant too.
