  Everything was perfect, from the room to the staff excellent customer service skills. They make yo feel like a queen, very attentive to the customer's needs. I'd definately reccomend and return to this beautiful villa - Lovely place, good location, peaceful. Nice stuff. Good breakfast. Comfortable room. Swimming pool.   Really quiet, lovely spacious room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Good breakfast with sweet and savoury options. Able to park right outside. (Like most places in Sicily there is a confusing one way system but stick with it. Drive up through he main car park, follow the signs through the top end of the town and Il Carmine can be found al... vad folk säger » most as you leave the town by the ports del Carmine) - Il Carmine is very conveniently located in a quiet piazza about 200m from the centre of the the old hilltop town of Erice. The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery. The rooms were very clean if a bit austere but that's exactly what I expected. The staff were reserved but charming.

  We loved it here, a haven, tucked away at the end of a private road. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners & their two dogs, The house & gardens have a lot of character, the views over Catania, especially in the evening, are breath-taking - Lovely place!   Idyllic surroundings,, quiet,peaceful and only 5 minutes from the town.Room was great and Francesca was so kind and friendly and a great cook! Take advantage of the food on offer, it beats other places. Had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend it, would go back tomorrow! - Very kind staff (Francesca), Elegant facilities, good swimming pool.

Even though this is only B&B and we did not expect 24h service, there's always everybody awaiting your arrival. Rooms where quite spacious, but they could use a little bit of refreshment. Bathrooms are quite small and if you're over 6ft you may encounter ceiling being very close. - The hotel was centrally located with parking nearby. It was quiet and comfortable and also a stylish, classical building.The staff were friendly and efficient. It was nice to see young people managing it.

  Great owner, very friendly and helpfull, that is how really looks the famous italian hospitality. Simple but very tasty breakfast. Good standard for that price. - The host is super friendly guy. He prepares perffect breakfast. I think that this was a main factor our stay was great!

  At first-extremely friendly, hospital and helpful staff and both of them spoke excellent English. Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))
