  Reception staff very courteous and helpful. Gave us a free upgrade and let us check in our room early. Room facing the race track is really nice. very spacious and modern. Although the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to the Autostrada and just a short drive to Ortigia Indoor pool is nice.   The staff were absolutely brilliant they could not do enough for you, the presentation of all food was excellent, the pool area was very good and clean beautiful areas amongst the rocks to sunbathe along with the beach area too so quite a few choices for swimming and sunbathing - Rooms were very comfortable and spacious.   What a great hotel! The sea view from our room was spectacular! Hotel is really in the heart of it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. If you must drive (we did!) there is cheap ... vad folk säger » parking within 10 mins walk. Get a small car! - Great hotel, very elegant, classy, updated and decorated with excellent taste. Fantastic location, spacious room and a view from the 3rd floor up. Breakfast is an experience on its own with wide variety and high quality, served on the terrace restaurant with a breathtaking view. Free parking just outside. Flawless.

  The hotel provided a shuttle service free of charge. There was a lovely man waiting for us when we got off the hydrofoil, which made the travel a lot less stressful.   Amazing service - a welcome prosecco on arrival, luggage taken up to our room from the car, room is tidied twice a day. Very nice private beach with free deckchairs/umbrellas. Great location by Isola Bella and close to the cablecar up to Taormina town.   I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. Plenty of sunbeds so no need to get up before the Ger... vad folk säger » mans. It has a lot of space, but that comes at a price. Be aware that it is not v close to any town and it can be hard to find, even with a satnav. - the weather, beautiful designed hotel
