  Reception staff very courteous and helpful. Gave us a free upgrade and let us check in our room early. Room facing the race track is really nice. very spacious and modern. Although the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to the Autostrada and just a short drive to Ortigia Indoor pool is nice.   We had a fabulous 1 night stay at the Hilton on our way to Taormina to enjoy the rest of our honeymoon! It was exceptionally clean,the staff were fabulous and very helpful when asking directions to where we were heading the morning after and the breakfast was delicious!   This "grande dame" of a hotel, while somewhat dated in appearance, is in a fabulous location right on the waterfront in Ortigia - the historic center of Siracusa. Parking is easy and reasonable-a huge plus if you're driving. The rooms aren't huge, but are quite comfortable; housekeeping standards are excellent. The great staff is professional, - Breakfast on the warm, sunny roof lookinf at the harbour. Drinks up there until mid to late evening. The friendly staff. Largish room with sea view. Easy to get to and pay car park wwas handy. Lots of great food vry nearby. Ortigia is the best part of town.
