  Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. The staff were helpful and very friendly. If you decide to stay here, there is a reastaurant around the corner with a waiter named Nikko, he'll take care of ... vad folk säger » you. Just tell him Chris from Chicago sent you. There's a Mojito Bar right across the street where many people gather, with some great cuban music. - Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

  Fabulous room on two levels with a view over the ocean; great minimalist decor. The lounge was a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ocean... although drinks buffet a bit pricey (good food though).   Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. I drive and SUV, parked it on the ramp and left the keys. The hotel staff moved around the vehicle and parked it. Although they did offer that someone comes for the car to a private garage, at a charge. But that's not an ideal scenario as you need to inform an hour before when you needed the car and they would need to drive the car themselves. When the rooms were serviced each day there were many little additional touches that showed that the staff really cared. Lovely clean, bright rooms with plenty of storage space and good air conditioning. The mini bar fridge and valuables safe were especially useful.
