This was the best hotel we've stayed in Italy! We've been to Roma, Firenze, Venezia on similar (cheap) hotels and this was by far the best.

Recently refurbished with modern open public areas on ground floor with small bar area. Very comfortable reasonably sized room in which everything worked very well - efficient AC and excellent hot water pressure although the shower cubicle is one of those very compact jobs.
The reception staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and informative and speak good English.
The hotel is very centrally located and for the price it would be difficult to find a better hotel in Palermo.

Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

I really liked the location of our apartment.which was just 10 minutes away from beach.Apartment was a good size 2 bedroom with a little balcony,which was great as we could put our towels and laundry there,plus sit down for a drink in the evenings.I had amazing time in San Vito and it became my best holidays as I got engaged there :) -

Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

Superb! Splendid! Marvelous! Wonderful! Best-value-for-money hotel I have stayed at in a long-long time. The staff was fantastic: no matter what requests, desires, wishes we had they did everything to help us and were very-very kind. The hotel is in a very good shape, everything is fresh and new, including the furniture. Breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee: never have I had such a good hotel-breakfast-coffee as here. The rooms were continually cleaned with very special care.

Second, and the most important, Giuseppe is the best thing that could happen to you in Taormina. He is extremely efficient and kind.
If you want to go to the beach ask Giuseppe for Playa del Sol. Very nice. -

My wife and I stayed at the residence Degli Agrumi for 2 nights. It has an excellent location in the centre of town with the bonus of private, safe parking. Immaculate rooms - we had a lovely rooftop terrace from which we could glimpse the sea. Comfortable bed, kitchen facilities and washing machine. Excellent hotel, walking distance from the cable car going up Mount Etna.
We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay.
