It was just perfect, wish we would have stayed here longer. Gioiosa Marea is a hidden gem far away from mass tourism, the beautiful seaview from the train station felt like a red carpet. Beautiful, quiet location and accommodation. Very very relaxing stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful in finding out the best places to visit based on our preferences.
Would also recommend eating at the residence at the weekend as they serve dinner which was local cuisine and excellent value for money.

Location is great, all main streets are near by. It's deffinately worth of the price you pay.The host Paolo was really nice and helpful. He gave a lot of useful tips about places worth seeing and was always following up if everything is ok and if he can be of any further help. Our stay at Gli Agrumi was absolutely great. The owner of hotel Paolo was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We felt like at home away from home. Breakfast at Bar della Piazzetta was included in room rate and was pleasure as itself - all was delicious and served with Sicilian charm and very personal attitude.

Wonderful large room with balcony overlooking hills and local mountain village; restaurant doesn't give options but this does not matter as each course was great and service very friendly. Swimming pool super size and not crowded when we visited. Totally relaxing.

The location ... it is right on the beach ... so if you like to wake up to the sound of the sea then this place is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. -
Perfect location, very cost efficient. Quaint rooms but they have all the necessary amenities. My family and I will frequent this place.
