A beautiful little gem in a rather run down area. It used to be the stables, then a bakery and now a small hotel with ambiance. The room was comfortable and originally decorated, staff very helpful, breakfast fair. Wifi was only on the lobby. Location excellent for exploring Palermo. I recommend it! -

Excellent location in the heart of the city, friendly and polite staff (I was served breakfast even being late - special thanks to Marco ;)), quite a decent breakfast for B&B (no hot dishes but good snacks, salame, yoghurt, fruits and capuccino!). Brilliant efficient staff. We stayed a night before an early morning flight. Receptionist organised our taxi, which arrived on time and cost 30 euros. Very clean apartment, good shower, plenty of room in the 2 bed apartment. Wifi in hotel lobby area worked well. Memory foam mattress and bathroom excellent - the shower even had a bonus feature of interchanging disco light and radio.

This is a beautifully restored villa and surroundings. The Villa Calandrino has been open for only several months and already they have everything right.
