  First of all was great greeting by the staff - that pleasantly introduced herself and showed around. Rooms are specious, all have small terraces, and sun-chairs - so you can enjoy sun in the morning. Breakfast was full of choice and homy.   Everything was good in this hotel. Staff was very friendly to us. The room was big, comfortable and very clean. Once this is small country hotel you have a feeling of being a private guest to the owner. Breakfast was just enough. Although dinners weren’t offered every day you were informed in advance. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone around 15 times. And in all that time worldwide, I cannot think of better, kinder hosts. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

  My wife and I have stayed in a big variety of places, all around Europe, especially Italy. Spa Resort Capo Nieddu is one of the best, if not the best, where we have ever stayed. Hotel is very closed to old city centre and close to a wonderful beach which is just 1 km away however renting bikes was a great idea to go to those places every - Great accommodation! I think it is the best place I stayed so far, has everything it needs. Very good location, friendly stuff (especially a lady named Rita), splendid apartment.
