  Great location just by the sea. Lovely view - we had a sea view room which was soo worth the extra 30 €. Very nice private beach/rocks with ok food, good service and comfortable sun beds. Maria Teresa in the front desk helped us out very good. She should be head of this hotel, not the grumpy old man in the front desk.   The staff were wonderful and very friendly. They were the nicest we have ever had on any trip to Italy. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was close to town for shopping.   Great staff - very helpful. Stunning views of Porto Cervo Marina. Thebreakfast gets somewhat repetitive but good overall. Close to amaaaazingrestaurants. You definitely need to rent a car. - We had the best room with terrace and full moon, the weather was perfect, breakfast perfect, friendly advise at the desk. What more can we say.

  Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Communication with the manager, Matteo, was excellent and he was very friendly and helpful with everything - not to mention all the great insider tips he had for us! We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), - We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis.   We liked the welcome and attention from all the staff at reception and in the dining area. The room space was good as was the garden setting. Breakfast was fine.
