  Only about 45 minutes from Rome this hotel is an excellent escape into the countryside. It is somewhat remote but in a beautiful relaxing atmosphere with lovely rooms and an excellent restaurant.   Delightful inn/restaurant just off the main plaza of Acquapendente, a must-visit Umbrian town, not frequented by mobs of tourists, with interesting shopping.
