  The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... vad folk säger » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

  We stayed at this hotel on our last night of vacation before we left Rome for home. For 67 Euros, this was a great value! The hotel staff was very friendly and professional, the room was clean, and the hotel itself looked very upscale. The breakfast staff let us in a little early since we had to take an early shuttle to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. A very nice breakfast was included in the price. Shuttle service was arranged both from and to the airport- 7.5 euro per person.   Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... vad folk säger » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

  The family which run this hotel are fantastic, they make you feel like you are part of the family when you stay. The service was excellent, and with the new improvements being done to this hotel it will be even more fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble. All in all it was a great pleasure toy - The location of the hotel is perfect. 200 m from rail station and you are on the road to Rome. Staff is very friendly and speak several languages, actually they are not a staff - they are owners of family run hotel and do care about everything. All is kept clean to perfection, almost too good to be true.   My family stayed at this cute modern-style hotel in Fondi on July 27th. The hotel was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. They were also very helpful. On our arrival at the hotel, the front desk quickly got us to our rooms, which was most welcome since we were tired after our long drive. The staff was more than helpful. One of the staf - Del Conte is the only entity in Fondi, that we can say Hotel. Despite this fact the hotel and the personel are so good as if there is a real competition. The rooms are perfect and clean. Although there is a nice family restaurant under the hotel, the personell was so eager to advice best eating experience in the city. The extra costs are also fair. You get more than what you pay for.
