Room and the pool area were clean. The staff spoke English very well and they were helpful. Especially one woman who helped us really much with the buses and also the ferry connection in Bari. The hotel was very close to the sea and beach and also the markets. Maiori was very calm and felt safe. -

The apartments are clean and spacious inside. we had a one bedroom even though there was just the two of us, but the studio's would have been fine. all of the staff from both the Hotel and the apartments where great. The pool is good and you can always get a sunbed

The Italian couple that owns the B&B are delightful and full of energy. Made us feel very welcomed since the first moment we step foot on the place -even gave us a welcome beer on the house when we first got there and sang me happy birthday at midnight as a surprise.

We enjoyed our stay at the 'New York of Naples' - it was a very smooth transatlantic crossing!!. Fabrizio and Aida were extremely friendly, enthusiastic and helpful hosts - our lack of Italian was no problem!. Lovely complimentary coffee/tea/juice etc as well as welcome beer 'alla spina' on arrival. Thank you also for the oranges which we enjoyed on the train!! We have only stayed at B&B's a couple times, as we normally prefer hotels, but we loved everything about Atmosfere Del Centro Storico. Bozena is just a treasure. Within 5 minutes of meeting her, you will feel like you have known her all your life. This Family owned Villa Hotel is a gem of Positano. We were extremely please with our stay in this wonderful place, Mr Antonio made the stay fresh, exciting, welcoming and warm. He was very helpful and full of recommendations and advice. This was an outstanding experience and everything in this B&B was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and gracious upon our arrival in getting us oriented with Napoli. Our room was spotless, comfortable and appeared to be recently renovated. The port, castle, bus station and old town are all within walking distance. As a result, we would gladly stay there again when we return to the city.
