  This place was brilliant. Great location, right in the center, with clean rooms attentive staff. Stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. Emmanuella was knowledgeable, warm, speaks english well and made us feel very welcome. Free drinks (juice, water, soda..) were offered upon arrival. His professionalism was only outranked by his pleasant personality. He was the perfect host and served the best breakfast each morning.   This hotel is absolutely great! The location is wonderful, when you go down from the hotel you're right in the central Amalfi shopping street. The staff was super friendly and nice, really great service! The room where we stayed in was beautiful and totally clean. It even had 2 tv's! The wifi in the hotel works perfectly, very fast!   When you arrive at the hotel, the first thing you notice is the courtyard with comfortable seating, quite a contrast from the street, quiet and welcoming. The next thing is the welcome, the receptionist was excellent, very good english and nothing was too much trouble, her local knowledge of the area and restaurants was very helpful. The staff were very helpful and went out of their wayto do anything we needed. There are many outstanding places to eat within walking distance and shops to visit. If traveling by the local train from Naples use the station by the church to exit, it is by the church. We would stay here again.

It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry. Very friendly local people....reallly helpful on buses.

  Excellent staff!! They were very helpful and friendly, all of them spoke English and they were always smiling. The hotel was clean, the restaurant was very nice. The terrace of the restaurant, where you can have your breakfast and dinner had wonderful view of the sea and the sunset. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air conditioning and ventilator also. Vico Equense is a lovely, pictur - Lovely airy rooms, big bathroom, lovely balcony with a view of the Gulf of Napoli. Breakfast is very good, lots of fresh breads and meats and fruits. The sun bathing area and the pool is also lovely but could be cleaned a lot more. The staff, in particular, Catello, could not do enough for us and drove us to the Train station for free on our departure. Really liked this hotel and excellent value for money.
