  We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! Arriving a bit earlier than expected, the hotel staff treated us to cappuccino and cake while they readied our beautiful corner room complete with a spectacular view of the Castel dell'Ovo. ... vad folk säger » Immaculate service, a bathroom filled with lovely spa products and fresh crisp linen sheets donned the bed nightly. We had a superb meal at the Hotel - The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Wi fi was free. The rooms are kept very clean also. We had a balcony on the front of the hotel and looked out on the waterfront with its boats, a castle that is lit at night, and Vesuvius looming in the distance. T

  Wonderful place to stay, quiet, beautifil and relaxing. 1) Good location, close to a bus stop, beaches and villages (10 min walk) and St Angelo is the most beautiful place on the island. Breathtaking views. 2) Good termal park, there are 13 pools, most of them about 1 meter deep, but there is also a couple of cool swimming pools. There is also a g... vad folk säger » ym. You can rent a bathrobe and towel for swimming pools for 2 euros a day. 3) Room was not small, high-ceilinged, with a terrace. They change towels - For the Spa experience the Romantica has extensive facilities. The setting is beautiful. The location is peaceful. Staff attentive and efficient.

  Very good location, very quiet, beautiful beach within one or two minutes walk from the hotel, a pool with warm thermal water and hydro- massage, plus a pool with lower, air-temperature water, plus sauna, ideal cleanliness, and, the most important, very friendly staff - Giovanni, Marco, Antonio and Pasquale, who always ready to help with all issue... vad folk säger » s. Everything was ok, thank you very much! Sometimes in the evenings it was a pleasure to listen to lovely Italian song performed very nicely by Pasqu - Friendly staff - we felt really like at home. Location - close to the beach, where you can find good restaurants. Two thermal pools (small but quite enough taking into account size of the hotel) - one is indoor and another is partly with roof - we could bathing regardless of weather.

  Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.
