  The front esk reception area personnel were outstanding and gave great service. I want to particularly site lia as most helpfull. Alphonse, Roberto, and Leonardo were very accommodating.   During a 2-week trip to Italy this great hotel was the highlight. The stunning views of the bay of Naples from our room and the beautiful dining room/ restaurant were a joy! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a nice variety (including tasty omelettes and cappucinos). The hotel is close to a bus stop (orange/ red buses into town and the train station, blue Sita buses to Amalfi an Positano). We, - The hotel is located on a very scenic spot of Sorrento, on a cliff. My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.

He even noticed that it was my birthday on the second day of stay and sent a very nice champagne with compliments that made the stay memorable.   We drove my little Fiat up and down the amazing Amalfi Coast and stayed 3days/2nights. We should have stayed longer. It was late January and there was still plenty to do and see. Winter is now my favourite season to discover Italy. Sure it might rain a little but usually crisp sunny days. Only real people about. No crowds. Upon arrival which was quite late, being 00:00, I was greeted and offered a drink while I was checked in. This was very pleasant after a long journey, and exceptional considering the time.   Villa Fraulo is set in a stunning location, high on the cliffs looking over the sea. The town of Ravello is wonderful, full of great restaurants, small shops and lovely buildings. The hotel was arranged a car to collect us from Naples airport and the driver was able to provide a tour to Pompei, Vesuvius and Herculaneum whi - The most Fantastic hotel, with beautiful views, great rooms, superb location near centre of Ravello, brilliant breakfast with such a variety & quality and absolutely top class staff who cared for their guests, sought high standards and were, well, just very, very nice, helpful people. Fully recommend this hotel - good car parking & it's also an oasis, when you get all 'touristed out', this is the place to relax. Just lovely!
