This was a beautifully atmospheric B&B, in an ideal location just outside the old part of Ravenna. We were in the Teodora and Giustiniano suite, which is the main room at the front on the first floor. It was full of slightly faded splendour. The hotel was beautiful and a great place to come back to and relax during the Ravenna afternoon siesta. It was an elegantly decorated room very clean and in a perfect location. The staff was very friendly, laid back and helpful and served us a wonderful breakfast. I would come back to Ravenna to stay at the Casa Masoli any day!

The hotel is in the center of the city. Very close to the important sights and shops and restaurants. The parking problem for the tourists was not a problem for us thanks to the hotel. Accommodations are Spartan but very clean. The rooms are in the owners 4 story house (no elevator) and he couldn't have been more helpful. He served the breakfast himself and it included salami and parmesan cheese, coffee and juice. Hot water was in short supply.

Best possible location in Ravenna for seeing the sights from inside the town. The owner was tremendously helpful in identifying a walking route for us, gave us a map, and even lent us one of his books on all the special mosaics in Ravenna. Charming b&b with lovely, helpful owners. Parking nearby (owner parked our car and we did not give any thought to it til time to leave when he brought it back to us). Our room on the second floor was tastefully furnished and overlooked the garden. Very short walk to the old town and viewing those breathtaking mosaics.

We stayed for one night and give a warm recommendation for Antica Ravenna Residence and its staff. We enjoyed our stay in Ravenna -
Although we had stayed in nice places before, this hotel was probably the best we visited in Italy. We had booked regular rooms, but were given apartments instead. The staff was very friendly and gave us a good restaurant address as well as parking advice, the room was very clean and well equipped with Sky TV, balcony, etc.
Bikes were available to get into Ravenna, but we did not use them as we stayed only one night. The price was reasonable too.

This Bed & Breakfast has a good location in the historical centre of Ravenna. We had a nice room on the first floor facing the street. The breakfast buffet (served from 8 to 10) was excellent with many good choices. There is wi-fi in the room and it is free, but it is not always stable. The location of this hotel cannot be better, with Teodorico's Palace and St. Apollinare Nuovo practically next-door. The bus stop for St Apollinare in Classe is opposite the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, although some English/French would be useful for some of the staff in the restaurant. Very clean, all fixtures work very well, including a very useful radiator in the bathroom to dry things quickly.
