  Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. The staff were helpful and very friendly. If you decide to stay here, there is a reastaurant around the corner with a waiter named Nikko, he'll take care of ... vad folk säger » you. Just tell him Chris from Chicago sent you. There's a Mojito Bar right across the street where many people gather, with some great cuban music. - Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

  This was the best hotel we've stayed in Italy! We've been to Roma, Firenze, Venezia on similar (cheap) hotels and this was by far the best. The outside look isn't great and can be a shock upon arrival, but most of the buildings in Palermo are like that, so don't be put off by your first impression. We stayed in a spacious room with TV, a mini-fridge, air-conditi - Recently refurbished with modern open public areas on ground floor with small bar area. Very comfortable reasonably sized room in which everything worked very well - efficient AC and excellent hot water pressure although the shower cubicle is one of those very compact jobs. The reception staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and informative and speak good English. The hotel is very centrally located and for the price it would be difficult to find a better hotel in Palermo.

  Highly recommended. Newly renovated and decorated with care to a high standard in a very pleasant style (as on the pictures). Very, very clean. Common area (living room and kitchen) are large and inviting. It’s on the 3rd floor , there is a lift/elevator. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful, made us tea and brought breakfast earlier than advertised in the morning. We have been traveling about 10 days thorough Italy staying at hotels before coming here. The room was spacious and clean with well equipped kitchen that I cooked fresh groceries. Also it located a good location which is most of the attractions are walking distance.
