  This was the best holiday we've been on and we're already talking about returning next year and staying at Kallikoros again. The hotel is lovely (stunning scenery) if you want to get away from it all, the pool beautiful (felt we had it to ourselves most of the time!), beds really comfortable, great power shower, and fantastic location for explorin... vad folk säger » g nearby UNESCO towns (Noto, Ragusa, Modica, Siracusa). Also Vendicari nature reserve with fabulous beaches.The staff made us feel so welcome. Yes it - First we've got a room on top of the hill and no balcony. After we've told the staff that I can't walk all too good they gave us an appartement just across the restaurant. The rooms were spacious and the shower is great. Good beds and overall a nice place to stay.

  We stayed there for 3 nights. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet, relaxing and personal atmosphere. Clean bedrooms, good facilities. Fantastic sicilian dinner and a delicious breakfast with fresh biological fruits, juice from the garden and yummy little homemade sweets. We would like to stay there again!

  It is essentially a family run business and it is clear they take pride in the work they do. The location of the place is perfect in that it is really easy to access beaches and sites such as Avola, Noto, the Vendicari reserve and other sites in the area.   Excellent location, 2 minutes from the main pedestrian street. The room was at the entrance, a bit noisy, but this is really a non-issue when compared with excellent breakfast in the garden and visit to the house. Breakfast was superb, served in the garden, excellent choice of different things, prepared at home, delicious. Great! The house is old about 300 years and this is like visiting a museum with all antiquity furnitur - On arrival, the drab looks of the street, exterior and surrounding houses hide a wonderful oasis that lie behind the walls. The layout of the interior was very well done and the rooms (some with mini kitchens) were very good and very clean - certainly the best we have stayed in. In addition to the wall aircon/heating unit, there was a separate heater to cope with the high ceiling rooms in winter.
