  We stayed at B&B Del Corso for two nights - the night we arrived in Naples at the start of our trip, and our last night in the city before departing Italy. The B&B was very easy to locate thanks to the map they provided (as well as our own google earth search). Located about 6min from the train station, and adjacent to the old city, the location can't be b - This is such a lovely place to stay. When we planned to stay in Naples and travel to Capri, sores to Pompeii from there we were a bit nervous as we were told by many many people that Naples is not a very safe city, and to some extent it is true. When we were approaching the place we felt a little odd in the surroundings although nobody bothered us one bit. Once we entered this lovely B&B everything changed.   I went to Naples for the first time last week and stayed at B&B Visconti. The hotel was 1st Class. Giorgio made me feel very welcome and at home. The room was of a very high standard,very clean and serviced daily. The breakfast was excellent and Giorgio made his own cakes. The B&B is very tastefully decorated, cozy, and in a great location for sightseeing. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the street outside - you can watch people eat, talk, and smoke.

  Superb city boutique hotel. Renovated with wonderful style and modern comforts. Staff were extremely helpful. Very good central location. Could walk everywhere including to the port. Owner was gracious. Best cappuccino machine I encountered on our 3 week trip through Italy. Breakfast was fine.   The hotel location is just great. we really enjoyed the stay here. the hotel even offers us free bikes to the castle. that's just nice. however, the owner of the hotel is not that hospitality. maybe she cannot speak English very fluently. the turkish spa is not open after 730 and the TV in the room cannot watch football match. we have to go downst... vad folk säger » airs in the bar for the match. - After having spent time in Rome and the mountains of Italy, Naples is completely different. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry.   Having arrived early morning we were pleasantly surprised by hospitality of Salvatore who served coffee to us and provided with all instuctions required speaking Italian only. But we could easily understand each other))) There is English speaking staff available later in the morning who is absolutely friendly and answering all the questions. The rooms and the place were very clean and new, the staff were friendly, and the B&B is located in the very centre of Naples: Corso Umberto, via Toledo, the Duomo, the Spanish Quarters, the funicular and the railway station (to name only a few) are only a walk away. We were given 2 quiet rooms and we slept most comfortably. Recommended.

  The host was great and gave us lots of useful information on our arrival. It is brilliantly located for the port of Napoli and near some excellent restaurants. Our room was huge - the air conditioning worked really well and he shower in the bathroom was great. Would definitely return if in Naples.

But at night it's rather frightening to get to the hotel from the downtown.
