Originally we were booked into this hotel but were moved to Hotel
Argentiere, where the manager of that hotel was very unfriendly and the
room inappropriate. Upon discussing this with the Lo Scoglio manager, we
were moved to a different building all together. Into a nice apartment

Beautiful location... the hotel seemed to be four rooms on the third floor of an apartment building, which was a little confusing, but once we were inside it was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helped us with printing out boarding passes and anything else we needed. They were so NICE!! The view was AMAZING... perfect spot in Monterosso to home base for fantastic exploring.

Location is great. Easy walk from the train station...as long as the
power stays on. We arrived in Monterosso after dark and it was raining.
About half way to the hotel, the power went out in the town. Thankfully
we let the hotel know what time we were arriving, as the person working
the desk came out and found us. There is no sign or address on t

Room was clean. We were traveling with our daughter, and she had her own
spa -
I loved our stay at the hotel. Everything was outstanding. We got a wonderful room of 2.5 levels (bedroom, sublevel bathroom-shower, and a tiny walkout patio). The resort is also eco-conscious with reminders about the use of water and electricity. Location was great! Two steps from the beach and main street that took us to all the restaurants. Best place from our Roman Holiday!

The location was perfect, the room which we had was in another building,
but was worth the walk as it was beautifully decorated. We were
traveling with our adult daughter, and there were actually two rooms
with a pocket door between which worked great as well as a balcony with

Since we had a car, free parking was excellent. It was in a secure
garage nearby the hotel. The hotel was very close to the beach and the
shops in the area. It was a very nice room with its own balcony with
chairs that had a great ocean view. The bathroom was modern with a great
shower. Since we were located up the street from the main building where
breakfast was, they personally brought croissants and left them on a
table outside the rooms in our building so we wouldn't have to walk
anywhere.

The staff was very happy and kind. The manager and his wife do not speak
much English at all, but communication was surprisingly smooth through
miming - and Magdalena knew the important works to explain everything to
us. Speaking no italian myself, I appreciated her attempts and successes
in communicating with us. They were very accommodating and the
