  This is an amazing place. Everything was perfect-tidy, clean and stylish hotel. Very nice englishspeaking receptionist-she gaves us many helpfull advices for the old Lucca town and ideas for good restaurants there. The room (our was named on Mozart:) was also perfect-nice decorated, clean and convenient, large comfortable bed and the shower in the... vad folk säger » bathroom was real pleasure. Perfect breakfast with very good lavazza cappuccino. Excelent service! We rented bikes to enjoy old part of Lucca and it - Beautifully restored Villa, high quality fittings,traditional Italian style,spotlessly clean room, lots of good quality choices in breakfast buffet. Friendly and efficient staff could not do enough to help us, excellent English and French is spoken. Nothing was too much trouble - thank you for an excellent stay in beautiful Lucca. Lovely relaxing area with hot tub etc. too.

  Very nice place with good owner Andrea and his assistant Kristina. They were very kind and attentive. Very interesting design - old style staff. Good restaurant. Gigant breakfast. We enjoyed!!! In fact they couldn't do enough for us - lending us bikes, and generally doing all they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible.   I booked a room in Castello di Mammoli, but reception is located in Hotel Villa Volpi, where asked us if we want to stay in Hotel Villa Volpi instead in Castello di Mammoli, because they have free room. Hotel Villa Volpi is amazing and if Castello di Mammoli is half that good I recommed it to everyone.   This was a lovely b&b to stay in, great area and location, right within the old town Walls, beautifully decorated, yummy breakfast, nice and peaceful at night, the owner was amazing, so friendly, helpful and recommended a great restaurant to eat at, which was so so good!! It is comfortable, well equipped and quite large. The proprietors, Giovanna and Giuseppe are very pleasant and helpful people.   We only stayed for one night but we had a good time there. The lady who owns the b&b was really friendly. There is a nice and clean swimming pool with a garden. The breakfast was really nice, they also bake or cook you an egg if you want. The room was fine. Small bathroom though. Luca is really beautifull so worth a visit. It is about 1 km to ... vad folk säger » the centre. There are bikes available which you can use for free. We payed 100€ for a night including a babybed. Not to cheap though but we booked lat - The owners and the staff were so helpful, friendly and with a good mood, so I can't really say enough good things about them. We really enjoyed the stay there, and in spite of some noice from local traffic and trains, these were things that really reinforced the impression of being a part of a lovely italian environment. We felt we were a part of the neighbourhood and with the bikes the owners lent us we were I Lucca's old city within 5 minutes. We loved the place!

I actually missed breakfast, however during the check out process I was yawning and the receptionist told me that I could still get a cup of coffee downstairs, some fruit, and cereal.
