  What a gem! Located in an old Palazzo, in the middle of Rome's best shopping, a short walk to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. For a few dollars more that other hotels we looked at, we had a huge 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. Elise was a tremendous help in every way.   I like everything in this hotel. I have to say that It was the best of all the hotels I have visited before. It is not just a matter of comfort and location, it is also a matter of excellent and dedicated attention. The host makes you feel really comfortable. The Affreschi su Roma's interior design is amazing, inside and outside. Location: uff! :) It takes less than 1 - Anna, our hostess, was fantastico! Her personal attention to our minor needs was excelling! For example, she prepared breakfast one morning earlier than the scheduled breakfast period to allow us to get an early start with that day's activity. Anna sang to my wife's piano accompaniment; Anna tutored me with my fledgling Italian conversation; Anna gave superb directions involving bus transportation. This hostess became our friend too.
