  We really liked the location of this hotel.. A little off the beaten track, near a square 'Campo Santa Marguerita' where there were more Venetians than tourists. Only short work to major sites. We were pleasantly surprised as after reading remarks & rating of previous tourists we expected an overpaid seedy hotel. But - The location was convenient as it is near the waterbus station which takes you anywhere. The room was clean and neat. We are a group of 4 friends and requested 4 single beds which Hotel Tivoli accommodated. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast with hams and bread. The staff was helpful and provided everything we needed. There are also many restaurants in the area so it is fairly convenient.

  The location was great only a short walk from the pizzale Roma where we got the bus to and from the airport. Also just a short walk into the main attractions grand canal, st marks square.   Staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and warm. The location is ideal, only a short walk from the bus and train stations and a 20 minute walk to the Rialto bridge through the city.
