  Very nice buffet breakfast. I could communicate with the staff in English. Staff were very ready to assist. My luggage was kept safe for me after checking out until I was ready to leave late in the evening after my program in Rome.   The design of Hotel Metropolis was very cool--modern, clean, chic. I absolutely loved the decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels). The breakfast was great--l - Close to Vatican/St. Peter's, Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant Angelo. Great shopping and restaurants in the surrounding Prati neighborhood. The Lepanto a metro stop is just a few blocks away, so seeing the rest of Rome is easy and getting to the Termini train station is very convenient.
