  The room was cleaner and more spacious than I expected. It was the best 3-star hotel room that I had stayed. It looked like a 4-star hotel room. It was really hot outside higher than 35 degree in celsius! But the air conditioner worked very well and we could stay in the room being comfortable and refreshing. No noisy during day and night. The staff went out of their way to help with anything i needed - even in the middle of the night. - Nice location, residential area , yet not too far from the city centre. Very friendly staff, and very clean, cool rooms. Great hotel!!! And above all: not expensive for a Roman hotel.

  Our standard room was medium sized, clean, bright and airy with a mini bar and large en suite. We also had a small balcony. Beds were very comfortable and there was no noise at night. Air conditioning was easy to control. Good variety for breakfast. Staff at reception very friendly and obliging. - Vincinzo at the front desk was very nice and help... vad folk säger » ful.   The design of Hotel Metropolis was very cool--modern, clean, chic. I absolutely loved the decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels). The breakfast was great--l - Close to Vatican/St. Peter's, Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant Angelo. Great shopping and restaurants in the surrounding Prati neighborhood. The Lepanto a metro stop is just a few blocks away, so seeing the rest of Rome is easy and getting to the Termini train station is very convenient.   The hotel was conveniently located between the Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican (a 10 minute walk to both) and from the Piazza you can continue through to the shopping areas and Spanish steps. Very friendly and helpful staff. In-room safes and reasonably-priced mini-bar. Reasonably good breakfast selection. Clean and well-tended rooms.

  We liked the location being close to the Vatican, close to the bus, metro and taxi stations. The staff is very cordial, professional and helpful. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The roof garden terrace is great for breakfast, aperitifs, with a view which is unique in Rome. There are lemon trees, olive trees, kumquat trees, lavende... vad folk säger » r bushes, Bougainville bushes, and other lovely flowers. We strangely recommend the hotel as world travelers. - I found the staff of the well positioned hotel to be its greatest asset, they went out of their way to ensure that everything I did in Rome was perfect. They were great in their recommendations and everyone I had dealings with were incredibly knowledgable on Rome. I highly recommend it and would stay there again next time in Rome.
