  I was glad to be the hotel's first customer and I'm as much happy to be their first reviewer. The hotel is located in a pretty strategic area - a 5 min walk from Piazza Risorgimento, terminus and stop of several buses, 5 min from Ottaviano subway stop, barely 15 from the Vatican city's walls. The rooms are large, fully equipped and everything is decorated with extreme elegance. Staff was - The staff was perfect. I was met by the owners of the hotel, they were extremely attentive with me and contributed to my perfect stay in Roma. Besides, he hotel is new, it is near metro station and Vatican area. I loved it!

  The staff are by far the biggest asset in this hotel. We were greeted by Raphaella who could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. On one night we had an issue getting our mobile to work which given we had left our two small children with their grand parents was an issue.   Our stay was very pleasant. Service is very good, the hotel is ideally located (everything is at walking distance), the room in courtyard is very quiet and the service unflawed. Given the special promotion we obtained, this hotel was fantastic. Still at a normal rate, this hotel should be warmly recommended (in comparison to many others in Roma whi... vad folk säger » ch are by far more expensive but far older and less sympathic). - This was our first stay at the Diplomatic - we arrived at Ciampino Airport at 8.20pm and used the Cottrall bus to take us the Aanagnina metro stantion. From the station at Lepante we walked 15 mins to our Hotel.We found our room very clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. The breakfast room was very pleasant as were the staff and we enjoyed the food available. Service was excellent.

  They were very accomadating when we were delayed in London for two days (cancelled flight) and needed to move our reservation by that number of days. Bookings.com helped us with this (not sure it would have turned out the same if they hadn't). As others have said, the hotel was in a great location. Our room was no frills, but all we did - The size of our room was good with very high ceilings adding to the feeling of a very spacious room. Free wifi worked efficiently in the room. Staff were very helpful. Location is excellent. Within 5 minutes walk of Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and just a little bit further for Trastevere. A good value hotel for the location.
