  Arranged a lift from airport with hotel owner - very friendly and meant we could get in to the room very early. Beautiful old building - lively location in the historical centre of bergamo.   Its a beautiful family run b&b. we had breakfast in the green garden without the intense heat of Florence. And its right in the heart of the old town of Bergamo; a short taxi ride from the railway station & to the airport. And the old medieval town had it all for a evening walk when it got dark; restaurants, delicious biscuits&cake&... vad folk säger » ;pizza shops open late,narrow lanes with people walking, window browsing; And St.Agata's; a beautiful church. - We just stayed one night to catch early morning flight from Bergamo Airport. Location is perfect, 15 minutes drive to- from the Airport. We stayed in the family room with beautiful Terace-Garden. Even we left very early in the morning, the owner prepared some sandwiches for us as take away. Sure will stay also next time.

  We stayed at Casa Andrea which is located in the main street of the old city of Bergamo. Apartment is on the 2nd floor (walk up) and is quite spacious, clean and comfortable.The bedroom had 2 small wardrobes and a set of drawers (as well as a baby cot), the kitchen was well supplied with glasses, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, as well as tea to... vad folk säger » wels and washing up products. Bathroom also had a washing machine (& detergent) which is a bonus for long term travellers. Many pamphlets, books, - Nice apartmens closely to the entrance in the Old town of Bergamo. Very convinient to reach from the airport (about 300 m from the last stop of airport bus). Sara, the owner, is very kind, careful and friendly, from first minutes creates feeling of a holiday from stay in this wonderful ancient town.   To be truthful, this was the first time I have stayed in a B&B in Europe, (I usually stay in hotels) and I am happy to say that I would certainly stay at B&B Al Teatro di Porta Dipinta again. The bus stop with a bus going directly to the airport is right opposite the street, so very convenient.
