Breakfast and only 2 or 3 m walking to San Marco - The hotel was charming, bright and full of character. The service from Daniel, tge manager, was the best experience in a lifetime of travel. He treated us like family.
The balcony overlooking the gondolas was classic. I highly recommend this and consider the price to be a great value in the context of an expensive city.

The apartment (vivaldi) was very clean and the staff friendly. They didn't have a booking for our last day so they let us check out at 6pm. The apartment is not only central but in a proper strategic spot, everything was only 5 minutes away. It was warm, comfortable and gave lots of privacy. distance. This is a family run, apartment kind of hotel with no
reception. You ring the bell and sign in in the upper communal area. Our
friends stayed in a three star hotel down the road and we were not
allowed in to have some rest with them but instead was treated like

The room was splendid and very nice furnished. We felt like two royalties.
