Helpful staff;there was a mistake and we were taken to a room with two twin beds while we had asked for a double, and when we informed them at the reception they transferred us to another room immediately. There was a mix up on our arrival (the manager did not realise we were arriving in the morning) so initially we had to wait for an hour for him to arrive. Great location - once you learn the trains (46, 62, 64, 116t, 571, 916
to the second Corso Vittorio Emanuele stop will drop you off just around
the corner from the apt), otherwise it is a pretty long walk from the

were pretty accomodating as long as you give notice (E.T.A., luggage

Positives: Casa Santa Sophia is a delight!
Joined to the convent, it is run by the Catechist Sisters of St Anne (there's mass every morning at 06:50, if you fancy joining them).
Simply furnished, this is a very basic hotel, and not one for a "romantic weekend" perhaps, but a perfect crash-pad for friends having a break in Rome.
I loved it - clean, quiet, spacious, friendly.

The owners went overboard to make you feel at home and answered our many questions with knowledge and added their own little bits to make it a great experience. as for the location it was great within walking distance of the central bus/train station. After all I have read about ROME budget hotels, I was pleasently surprised about this one. Its location is in a very safe and convineint quarter - 10 min. on foot to Termini and to the city centre. There are bus stops nearby to the main Rome attractions, eventhough you can reach them on foot. The owner is very polite and helpful. You can rely on him for every question you have.He gives you a map and routes on it, even without asking for this. The rooms were not big, but very comfortable. Break

The B & B has beautiful authentic rooms. Breakfast was very good. The location is excellent. All the major sights were in walking distance. But the best off the B & B was Michelle. She run the B & B allone, and did it with a professional flair. Always smiling and helping with everything like restaurants, taxiservice. We asked for some background music with the breakfast, and the next day there was some soft music. Simply the best.

This is a perfect place to stay for your trip to Rome.
The location is perfect - 3 mins to the Forum, 15 mins walking from Termini railway staitaion, etc.. We used the metro just once, to get to Vatican.

This little place is gorgeous, well located in a quiet little street
near via Cavour with an excellent restaurant across the street. I was
met by a gorgeous man, Leone, who despite my late arrival was really
nice. The only criticism was that the promised breakfast was really bad,
so don't depend on it. The area is well serviced by other bars etc,
so eat breakfast out. Just make sure you avoid Gran Caffe Cavour, in via
Cavour, as a coffee there will set you back more than 6.60euro!!!!

At first, I barely notice that it was a hotel. This is because it is located on the 4th floor of a residential building. But when you come into the hotel you feel the warm atmosphere probably created by the manager. He let us very comfortable. The hotel is very small (3 double rooms). In fact it looks like a small Inn.
