  First of all, the location couldn't be better. It is located about 2 blocks south of the Duomo, and 2 blocks north of Ponte Vecchio bridge and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. There are city buses, and unbelieveably one of them comes right down the narrow street with a stop right in front of the B&B, so coming from the train statio... vad folk säger » n with suitcases was no problem (1.5 euro bus ticket). The staff was excellent, and helpful in suggesting sights not to miss and how to get to them - Bruno showed us the most wonderful hospitality, we had a fantastic stay with him in Florence! He helped us book a lovely restaurant and was endlessly helpful with where to go and what to see in his home town. The B&B is his home and is run with warmth & love. The rooms are clean, comfortable & simple. There are tea and coffee facilities available at all times and a little mini bar for your use. Location is wonderful, right in the heart, near the Duomo but not at all noisy. Recommen

  Location, location, location! Cimatori Bed and Breakfast is located in a 600-year old building right in the middle of Florence's historic center that's easy walking distance to nearly all of the major sites in the area. We were traveling with a party of four and Cimatori offers a room with two queen beds, which saved us the cost of a second room. Breakfast was - The location was great, close to everything and safe for a solo female traveller. It was very clean and comfortable and the windows were effective at shutting out the bustle of tourists when needed but even then the noise was not at antisocial hours or unpleasant so no problems. Dominico and Valeria were very helpful and friendly, they helped me get tickets for the art galleries and made me lovely tea and coffee every morning and were able to answer any questions I had.
