  I had a small single room which was simple but very clean. Loved the air conditioning. It's super close to the main town square and university quarter. A great value for the price. The staff person spoke English and was very helpful.   I agree with the person who asked whether they had stayed at the same hotel as many of the other reviewers. Having read the reviews, I expected something like the house in the Addams Family. It's not the place for a romanti - Historical nature of building; space in rooms (much larger than most hotel rooms in Italy, extremely spacious bathroom); nice paintings and furnishings; large lobby; free wifi; helpfulness of staff; reasonable (but not exceptional) breakfast (fresh fruit would be nice)
