  It is a very good relation of price and quality. the accomodation was the cheapest i could find anywhere in center of Venice for end august, beginning of september and yet it was quite good quality. The room was o.k., i had single room. I could choose from a few shared bathrooms (with shower), that were clean and always was one of them at least em... vad folk säger » pty. of course there was water on all floor after shower so it wasnt good to use this bathroom then, but you could go and find another bathroom and le - I heartily recommend this hostel for one reason. I made a dumb move there the first night and left my wallet in the washroom with 200€ inside. Some minutes later I realized this and thought I was surely in trouble. I opened the door to my room and about to knock was a staff member who said someone had returned the wallet. All the money was still there. I don't recommend leaving wallets around. However, at a more run-down or wild hostel you could not expect such an outcome. So the fact that the

  Generator was a great place to stay in Venice. Even though it is on Giudecca, there is a vaporetto stop near the hostel and getting to St. Mark's Square is quick and easy. Staff were generally helpful and made a special effort to help us locate a lost piece of luggage at the airport. We stayed in a 4 bed with an en suite bathroom that was clean, s... vad folk säger » pacious, and had a great view. The lobby was inviting and modern, and the breakfast is a good value. Certainly better than your average budget hostel. - They helped me to charge my phone when my cable got broken. Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price. It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there. It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.
