  The owner of this hotel is a very elegant man, who was very helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The room itself was not large but had a wonderful veranda that overlooked a canal.   The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was quiet, yet just off a lovely square. It was so close to the grand canal and therefore easy for transport and sightseeing, eating out etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for 3 of us with a decent size bathroom and I liked the fact it was on the ground floor and had its own hall, whic - This is a small and older style hotel but had real character, it is in a little alleyway not far from the Rialto Bridge so the location is excellent. Hotel Staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate, the lady at reception gave us a map and showed us the way to the major attractions as well as her favourite cafes and restaurants. The hotel courtyard was a lovely little place to sit for your breakfast.
