  The hotel location is perfect (center of Venice in the nicest area), the room was quite big with air-conditioning and fan. Everything was more than correct for the price we payed for middle of July. Not huge breakfast but correct: good coffe, bread with butter and jam and one cake.   The location was excellent. Just a few minutes from 2 vaporetto stations (waterbuses). Getting around was so easy, whether by vaporetto or walking, with something new around every corner. Carlo, our host was a wonderful gentleman, speaking excellent English and very helpful with all our questions. Breakfast was very good, with plenty to eat. Nearby are lovely shops and restaurants, we can highly recommend San Trovano Taverna, for great food and p - Carlo was fabulous-- we discovered a problem with our airline tickets at the airport which meant an additional night in Venice (even though we'd already checked out of the hotel that morning), Carlo graciously said he he could put us up for the night saying, "it will be nice to visit with you again." He was also helpful with finding an open pharmacy on a Sunday and answering our many questions.

  AC - Extremely helpful desk clerk who spoke very good English. Loved the location once we found it (but he was helpful with directions too). Espresso machine at breakfast was great (do it yourself) - Clean good sized room. Bedding for 5 is quite rare but is great for larger families, convenient location, good transport link close by.

  My stay at Giudecca Bella was wonderful, and allowed for a more relaxed and quiet stay in Venice, than staying on San Marco. And the great thing is it is only 2 minutes away from San Marco on the ferry. Very friendly and welcoming, very pretty, and the price is right, particularly for Venice. Highly recommended! - Everything was so perfect. Th... vad folk säger » e place is ideal, the isle Giudecca is very quiet and the nearest of the isles to Venice. With the ferry it only takes 2 min. to get over the small channel of Giudecca. The price is perfect as well. Most of the hotels in Venice are really expensive, but here I paid less. Amazing!
