  Location - central to everything we did. Staff was top notch in everything with recommendations, directions, service. Loved the old-world feel of the place. Room was kept very clean. Loved the breakfast outside in the morning and people watching in the square. - I loved the Venetian decor, chandelier, hand painted furniture, corded drapes.   The hostel was quite clean, especially bathroom. I was so surprised when I used it. I was smelling so nice and everything was so pure. Also there was a kitchen, I couldnt find the change to use it but I am sure it was also so useful. - The Hotel was close to the San Marco Basilica and its beautiful surroundings.   We stayed at casa sain't andrea a day before our cruise. Location is perfect, only few minutes walk from P. roma to our hotel and like walking around a building where we catch our shuttle, people's mover to our cruise ship. Vaporetto or water taxi is just outside the hotel. A grocery is close by where we bought our bottled water and food supply. We chose to walk via academia to rialto and P. mar - Coming from the airport by bus around 9pm, this hotel was close to the drop off point which was useful with roller suitcases. We were greeted by a friendly man who made us welcome and up-graded our room to one that overlooked the canal. It was great waking up to the canal boats going about their business, after we had enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. Although simply furnished the room was clean and quaintly old-world with exposed beam look. The breakfast was great and plenty of it! The staff

Large room and bathroom (especially by European standards). Very clean and nice. Very close to the train station (5-10 minutes walk). The breakfast was wonderful and service was great.
