The location was excellent as expected however the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful...this was somewhat surprising after reading some poor reviews but very very welcome. - The Hotel was easily accessible from the Waterbus stop and near restaurants and bars. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Were able to sleep 5 in one room for the night, very affordable, in the
heart of the city, and easy enough to get to from the airport via the
Alilaguna water service. We did have to haul all our cruise luggage
through the streets from the stop, and over 2 canals, but was worth it
in the end for the location. The room was comfortable for 1-3 nights

The location of the hotel was perfect, just 5min walk to St Mark's
Cathedral, and on a very fancy street with many brands' stores. The
staff was very friendly (thanks to Reymond). The hotel by mistake charge
our money before we go, but as an apologize they offered us a free
champagne and cookies, which we appreciated. The room size was enough
for us, and the bathroom was completely renewed. On the breakfast they
serve cheese, ham, fruits,.. Was quite nice but we adored the pie with

We were made feel very welcome Staff were always helpful. Our flight home was cancelled and we booked in again for 2 extra nights and hotel reduced the rate for us. Overall fantastic - Excellent staff, good location, a well-run hotel.

This is my second visit to the wonderful hotel and it will not be my last! The location is amazing, only 1 bridge to cross with your suit case from the water stop, situated minutes from San Marco and the Grand Canal. As a solo traveller I walked back to the hotel well after midnight, to a warm and welcoming reception. Nothing is too much trouble

The staff were just brilliant, welcoming, friendly, helpful and they even kept their cool when our 5 year old spilt her yoghurt over their beautiful carpet at breakfast. The room was top class and very comfortable for a family of 4. The motel is in a top spot so close to all the action. P.S don't be put off by the alleyway entrance. We were initally concerned it was going to be a dinghy place but we were pleasantly surprised.

lovely stay, clean and great location! - Our stay at the Hotel Dell'Opera made our time in Venice perfect, we were there during a very hot/humid spell and we were able to stop back into the hotel throughout the day because of the central location and cool off, take a bath in their beautiful bathroom, or a siesta in their crisp sheets, it was total

They answered our quesions and were always ready to print our a map and direct us to where we waned to go. The room was great.
