  This hotel costs about half what a comparable room in nearby hotels cost. The difference is that there is no full-time desk clerk in a lobby here. The manager meets you to give you the keys and make sure you're properly settled in, then you're on your own (with his cell number to call if there are any problems--which there were not, during our sta... vad folk säger » y). The room was spacious (by European standards), the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. I have no complaints. - Camere Corona was perfectly situated to see all the beautiful places in the centre of Rome. Marco was extremely friendly, organised transport from the airport which was wonderful as our plane was delayed and arrived very late. He gave us all the information and map of Rome that we needed to see and enjoy our stay.

  The hotel location is great, very close to the Termini station, which is super easy to use both line A and B subways. The area is also pretty safe as well. The hotel owner - Polo is super nice. The hotel facility is very simple, but good enough for most travelers. The hotel is actually in the 4 floor, and has a small elevator. The manager, Paolo was very polite and showed us around, I would recommend this hotel to everyone, it doesn't have much facilities but its a nice, clean room , and provides the basics.

  A chauffeur service from the airport was a welcome additional service. The apartment was opened for us on arrival. This has not been the case at other apartments I have stayed at in Europe. Our host provided a helpful introduction to the apartment and the local neighbourhood. It is in a great location. It is an easy walk to metro stations and the ... vad folk säger » sites of Ancient Rome. A washing machine was a welcome addition after travelling for a couple of weeks. We didn't need a clothes dryer, because the we - friendly welcome service (our plane arrived late, and we arrived at the apartment past midnight - no complaint, no extra charges). We broke a lamp, but it was no problem at all. "Viminale" is an excellent location (also friendly and helpful neighbors - not seedy at all, as somebody wrote). Many sights within a short walking distance (colloseo, foro Romano, etc.). Nearby Metro gets you quickly and cheaply (1.50 euro for age 12 and up) to Vatican city.
