  The room was so beautiful and fully equipped. Although the bathrooms are shared, they are clean and nice designed. Breakfast is included and there is a fridge and microwave oven for you to use. The hotel is located very near the central station and market is in walking distance. - Very welcoming.   Landed in Florence on a very wet morning and staff were very friendly and Most helpful. An upgrade to Apartment was very welcome and it was spacious and clean.fantastic being right in middle of Florence and close to station, with easy access to restaurants, shopping and all the sites.   Good location, only about 20 min walk to main town and 5 min walk to central train station. Spacious rooms, but lacking proper wardrobe and coat hangers. It has a small kitchen anex, which was very convenient. The manager Elvis was very helpfull in trying to sort out the transport to Lajatico for us. The view from balcony is onto another block of flats and not the tow - This is an excellent accommodation on offer, particularly considering the moderate price. I must say that we liked everything in the hotel/hostel, the friendly staff, the clean and excellent facilities, and the convenient location. We enjoyed every minute stay there. I would also mention that when my wife and I just arrived, Ervis, a staff member gave us a thorough introduction about Florence, which was really help.   This is not really a hotel but an apartment that has been converted into bedrooms, some with en suite showers. We lucked out by having the one room with air-conditioning, an unexpected bonus. Next to that an excellent restaurant serving Florence's steak speciality. - we stayed 3nights in Florence and were really happy with our choice for accommodation. The staff was really friendly,and even suggested and booked us a one-day to Siena/San Giminiano, that we really enjoyed! The room was big and with nice furniture,clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was working perfectly ! Also there was also a kettle and some coffee/tea available. Overall, would recommend.

  The hotel is situated near the station. It is a B&B so the feel is more homey in the room. It's clean and the bathroom looks like newly renovated. Not a huge selection for breakfast but okay especially for the price.   The staff is WONDERFUL, kind and helpful. The location is perfect, It was quiet at night, but still very close to all the action. There was a living room area just off my room where you could meet up with other travelers -with a small fridge. I will return to La Cittadella on my next trip and highly recommend it to anyone else visiting Florence. The owner - The hotel is lovely. The room is warm and spacious. The bathroom is big and also has a heater. The desk staffs Teresa and the other guy are very helpful. The hotel is very secured, about 4 locks before you can enter. The lift is reliable. It is also 20 meters away from the bus stop Guido Monaco where you can easily take buses to Sta. Maria Novella and other destinations. There is also a Turkish restaurant and various cafes 20 meters away from the hotel and a Tabacchi store by the bus stop.

If your the kind of traveler that's into going out and seeing all that Florence has to offer, as opposed to being seen in fancy hotel lobby, this is the place for you. Marissa, the manager, was very generous with her knowledge of the events, sights, and recommendations. The manager at the Aramis B&B was very helpful with giving my girlfriend and I local information and tips on the best restaurants. The accommodation was extremely clean and they made us feel very welcome. I would defiantly recommend to a friend.

From the clean towels in a lovely confection on our bed at arrival, to the delicious, home-baked pastries and pancake at breakfast, our smallest needs were met. At La Coccinella, I slept soundly despite its location near the train tracks and - The location is a close walk to the train station, the staff is friendly and helpful to English speakers. The rooms are comfortable and privacy is there for your private shower and bathroom located just out of your room. Air-Conditioning is there for those hot Florence days which I had. The train station is maybe a 10-15 minute walk, add another 15 minutes from there to Florence Cathedral.
