  Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. I ... vad folk säger » have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 years, and appreciate the unique and lush appearance of the hotel, but if you are into large spaces and cont - Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

  Our first taste of Europe 14th June 2013 before our tour started 17June was staying at this Hotel , what a wonderful start to our holiday the staff amazing hotel beautiful location fabulous .   The location was perfect - a short walk to almost everything! Even the things that were "far" were only a 20 minute walk. (Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain) Alina at the front desk was awesome and so helpful!! The rooms were nice & clean. The bathrooms were nice as well. Free breakfast/cappuccino & WiFi is always a plus for us whe - Everything about the Hotel 47 experience was excellent, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The location for a visit to Rome was perfect for those whe enjoy walking around a city. It was close to many of the major monuments, resteraunts, and public transport. The accomodation was excellent with wonderful views over some of Rome's ancient temples. The breakfast was very good and staff helpful.

  Perfekt läge eftersom vi kom med tåg till Roma Termini och dessutom gångavstånd till många sevärdheter - Centralt (200m från stationen), bad om ett tyst rum och fick ett rum på 8:e våningen som var hyfsat lungt, även om det aldrig blir riktigt tyst i dessa kvarter. Skulle söka mig till lugnare kvarter nästa gång, trafiken alldeles utanför var snudd... vad folk säger » på mördande även om det var bra på sitt sätt att vara så nära tåg o bussstation samt T-bana. Var på konferens som hölls på hotellet vilket var praktiskt.
