  We stayed at Relais De L'Opera for our honeymoon in Rome and it was an excellent choice. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.   Gorgeous, stunning hotel, just like in the pictures. Marble everywhere. Just gorgeous. Very substantial, varied, and delicious breakfast included with the price of the stay. So the 10-15 minutes to the nearest subway station or the Spanish Steps is really nothing. Read up on Roman - This is a very well appointed hotel that is a pleasure to visit. There is a lovely garden around the hotel. It was easy for us and our 8 year old son to walk to all major attractions. The area is quiet at night and there are excellent nearby restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, consisting of cold meats, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals and numerous tarts and pastries.   It was my husband's and my first trip to Rome. The location to the Vatican n most of the famous sights in Rome was fantastic. It took us 10 mins to walk to meet our tour guide for the St Peter Bacilica and Sistine Chapel tour. We walked everywhere, as it was .very easy and convenient.
