  The hotel is positioned in a quiet side street and was a tad more expensive than we usually pay for our city breaks but we thought it was good value in relation to the other hotels in the area. But it was well furnished and we had the canal view, which was lovely. But the bed was extra- large and very comfy. The front of house were very helpful with regards to restaurant recommendations - Very central boutique hotel within 5 mins of St Marks......loved the gondolas passing the door of the hotel & some had singers/guitar players ....the singing was brilliant !!! The staff were all friendly & very helpful. The room we had was a junior suite & for 3 women sharing was a bit on the small side but we managed. I would recommend that the hotel get rid of the excercise bike & replace it with a chest of drawers or another wardrobe !!!! Breakfast was really good & plent

  The staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The staff helped us with our luggage, which was certainly not expected, but very much appreciated. The hotel was beautifully presented and maintained, and helped give that feeling of antiquity that you get in Venice. We have already recommended Antica Casa Coppo to our friends. - Lovely small hotel with friendly, helpful staff and in a quiet but central position. The hotel recommended best water taxi company to use, and made sure that although we arrived outside reception hours [1 pm] we could leave our bags safely and go for some lunch until 3pm when reception opens. We look forward to staying here again, and will be recommending Antica Casa Coppo to any friends coming to Venice

  very large rooms for such a place like Venice... - Our apartments were quite large and pretty. One with canal view, the other with garden view. We felt like home. The hotel is very close to St. Marco, about 5 to 10 minutes walk. Though, it is quiet.   Absolutely loved it. The owner, Matteo came and met us at Rialto Bridge, from there it was a few minutes walk to the hotel. St Marks square was just a few minutes walk too. We were upgraded from out triple room (on the canal, which was delightful) to two very large adjoining rooms on the canal, with a double length balcony! It was stunning. There are um - The experience of staying here was excellent even before we arrived! As we were arriving really late into Venice, Matteo assured us it was no problem to meet us at San Marco vaporetto and walked us to the B&B! A nice touch so late at night! The B&B was perfectly located just a few minutes walk from St Marks square and less than 10 from Rialto bridge - generally close to everything we wanted to see and do as a tourist!   Really enjoyed our stay here. Just realize that European hotels are different from us cookie-cutter hotels. Tucked away from noisy tourist crowds. Charming small pensione with fantastic views. Felt like a local. Canal views from each room, favorite part of the day was opening a bottle of proscecco and sitting in the window sill watching seranading... vad folk säger » gondolas go by.
