  The hotel room was amazing. It had a unique and spacious layout and we especially loved the rooftop terrace. The staff member Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly and provided effective communication before our arrival. We really appreciated the nice touch of the breakfast basket. Even though we arrived late at night, they kindly arranged everything to receive us late at night. The place was very spacious and clean with a beautiful view of Florence from the balcony.   The decor, the staff and the location. The hotel is a renovated "Palazzo" of the Piccolomini family. Everything is brought up to date while maintaining the character of this family estate. There is a bus to the historical center of Siena, a pedestrians- only town center, and the highway to Rome or Florence is nearby also. The Duomo is just less then 10 minutes away on foot, amongst other popular museums and local sights. Set in a beautiful square, where you can get a beautiful view of the city hall tower from the apartment. The shopping belt surrounds the apartment, together with many wonderful restaurants. A true gem!

  Everything was great! From the beginning the staff gave us spot on information to reach the apartment, met us their on time and helped carry our lugguge up the 3 flights of stairs! Then spent time going through a map showing us the location of the attractions, good restaurants and places not to miss. We had 2 terraces, off the kitche - We just loved this quaint little apartment. Although small all that was required was provided for and in good working order. Washing machine was also easy to use. Bed linen and towels good quality and apartment was clean. Of course location was fantastic and we had no noise issues. In fact we enjoyed getting a bit of taste hearing about some Italian domestic life while sitting on the balcony.
