Within easy walking distance of the Duomo and an excellent location to pick up day trips from Milan to Como, etc. Restaurants abound within a couple of blocks as well as endless shopping opportunities.   Perfect location:very close to city center, 5 minutes by walking to Duomo. Clean rooms, very nice and polite stuff. Breakfast was good also: different kinds of coffie, juises, yohurts, fruits, cornflakes and milk, croissants and the pies (the pies were ecpecially delicious). I was really enjoyed by staying in this hotel. - Very very great breakfast. Room is so clean and big enough. Great location. 15 minutes walking to castle, last supper, and duomo. I‘m sure you can't stay a better hotel than this one in this price level.

  We moved to la dimOra after staying at a local apartment on the same street. What immediately struck us was the great location. Corso Di Porta Ticinese is a great place to stay in when in Milan but la dimOra was located in an even quieter lane off the tram line just 100m away and very near to a great pizzeria and gelateria, as well as some eclecti... vad folk säger » c shops! Carrefour Express was just 5 mins . away and was great for any supplies that you lacked. What impressed us upon checking in was the reception - The receptionist was really very helpful and spoke very good English. The apartment was spacious and had all that we wanted, and was new and had some great design elements. And it was especially good for travel with kids. The location was great. A pleasant walk or short tram ride to the centre of Milan and lots of interesting shops and restaurants close by. And it was in a VERY quiet street, which was great.
