  It was only about a 10 minute walk from the Florence train station. Hotel was easy to find & has an elevator to the 3rd floor. We had a large room that did not have any street noise. The rooms are furnished with Ikea type furniture - sort of stark. We had windows that opened. We didn't need heating or cooling when we were there. Staff made reservations for us one night at a local place of sinful gluttony called Il Latini - We were very welcome by the whole staff, mainly by Gina, the owner. They were kind in managing to give us a calm room, exactly as we had asked in the site. Modern decoration, silent air-conditioning, comfortable bed, convinent location and delicious breakfast. During our stay, my boyfriend celebrated his b-day. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at breakfast room and found Gina with a millefoglie cake and champagne for us both! I would defintely recommend this hotel for anyone. Can´t wait to

  What a unique experience that to stay at Villa Agape for a fantastic introduction to Florence. Its peaceful and wonderfully attractive setting is a perfect oasis away from the always crowded historic center. Inside, the huge villa offers many areas that give you a sense of a family home more than a conve - The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.

  Monica, who owns and manages Rosary Gardens, simply can not do enough for her guests. This was my second stay at this hotel and it ranks one of the best experiences ever. The lady that is in charge - This hotel is a little gem! Beautiful English decor, very cosy and stylish. Little breakfast area with four tables; breakfast with a choice of breads, jams, eggs, cereals, fresh fruits etc. Our room was big enough for three and had all facilities we needed. The hotel is on the outside of Florence approx 4 km. of the city centre.
