The hotel is basic but really good value for money. The decor is dated but is really clean and tidy. We had cleaners come into the room daily swept moped and clean towels and sheets. Great location just two blocks from San Marco square and one block from
the water taxi (Vaporetto). Everybody was friendly and helpful. They
allowed us to store our bags for several hours after we checked out so
we could sightsee until it was time to catch our train.

The suite was large and very comfortable. Excellent view over St Mark's Square. The location was very handy to St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace as well as to the shops and restaurants. The best location in Venice. Right on the square so we were able to sit in the air conditioned room and look out over the crowded square. It was very warm outside, but cool inside. Beautifully decorated Venetian room. Nice bathroom too. Be aware you have to check in at a hotel around the corner.

The location was INCREDIBLE! The room was perfect and even had a roomy balcony. I can't say enough good things about the staff. The desk was manned 24/7 and they were always polite and very helpful with suggestions and questions. It's about 2 minutes walk from the Ducal Palace and the waterbus stop.
